You can discover Carica Wines at Riggers Loft, a working winery shared by several wineries and a cidermaker.  Riggers Loft features a Tasting Room, Wine Bar, Bay-facing Patio, and Event Space on the edge of San Francisco Bay in Richmond's historic Shipyards District.  The restored WWII shipbuilding structure is located next to the Red Oak Victory ship, a floating museum that is part of the Rosie the Riveter National Historic Park.

Riggers Loft offers breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline, Oakland and East Bay Hills, the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and Tiburon.

 

Driving Directions | 1325 Canal Blvd, Richmond CA 94804

From Highway I-580, take Exit 8 for Canal Blvd/Garrard Blvd.  Turn onto Canal Blvd and head west toward San Francisco Bay.  Stay on Canal Blvd for 2.5 miles as it takes you into the Port of Richmond.  When you reach the very end of Canal Blvd, you have arrived at Riggers Loft, next to the historic Red Oak Victory ship. To enter, look for the red door beneath the building’s historic “Sheet Metal” sign.

Come by Ferry or Bicycle

Riggers Loft is located on the Bay Trail (see Map section #13). Bike across the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge, or from points in Berkeley, Oakland, or Richmond.

S F Bay Ferry: From San Francisco to the Richmond terminal, foot of Harbour Way South. Then take app-based transportation 4.5 miles to the end of Canal Blvd. Check Ferry Schedule.
