Although considerable consolidation of larger wineries continues in the wine industry, smaller wineries are also emerging, dedicated to making single vineyard wines in limited production.

These “hands on” wineries have the opportunity to support sustainable vineyard practices and to craft wines with minimal intervention. The goal of such wine making is to create the highest quality wine whose characteristics reflect a sense of place of origin or “terroir”.

Great intensity is a hallmark of these wines, but never at the expense of the critical balance between fruit, acid, and tannin that distinguishes truly great wines.

Carica Wines is proud to be among these small wineries dedicated to the highest quality.
